FAQ

Could you tell me why you don’t provide quotes?

Generally, we do not provide quotes because we often find that end-of-lease cleaning and bond cleans have hidden surprises. This results in additional work and costs to us.

What does a "best estimate" mean?

We believe that our clients deserve a superior cleaning service. For that to occur, our best estimate price fairly represents what we feel the job will take in time and the cost to the client.

What if the time to complete the job is less than the estimate?

We can only invoice you for the time to finish the job.

Who do we engage with for end-of-lease and bond cleaning?

We believe that as the person paying for the service, we engage with you, not the property manager.

What if the property manager of our lease property feels that additional cleaning is required?

We have experienced a very wide spectrum of standards regarding property managers. We have been called back to a property because the property manager found a single hair in a bath. We will engage with you as the person paying the invoice, not the property managers.

Your hourly rate seems higher than other companies. Why is that?

We charge out at a set rate for domestic/residential clients. This is fair and reasonable, but also is a true reflection of our costs. Out of that hourly rate, we pay for wages, tax, company tax, and vehicle costs that include fuel, maintenance, insurance and depreciation of the vehicle. Further, we pay for company insurance for public liability, vehicle and worker’s compensation insurance. So, there is not a great deal of money left after that.

Are you able to clean above ground level?

Our insurance only allows us to work at ground level (outside of the building). We intend to send our staff to undertake training in Working at Heights.

Do you offer cleaning that uses eco-friendly chemicals?

We believe we have a part to play in protecting our environment. If you request that we use eco-friendly chemicals, then we absolutely will.

Do you work on weekends?

With an agreement between ourselves and the client, we can work on weekends, nights and public holidays. These are reflected in our hourly costs, as they attract a tariff.

What is crime and trauma cleaning?

Crime and trauma cleaning is a specialist cleaning incident. It will be because there is blood or bodily fluid contamination. This could be from an intentional act of a person, a criminal incident, a medical event, or non-intended bodily fluid contamination. There is also a biohazard risk with people who are hoarders. There can be a mixture of human and animal waste.
